(Old issue I didnโ€™t deal with because sidetracked)

Hey I want to install Linux on an old outdated computer so I can use it, but a guide is asking me to verify the iso file and no matter the source I try the numbers donโ€™t match.

This really held up what should be a simple process but I donโ€™t want to install from a file that has potentially been altered.

What do pls?

I have a beautiful friend who, after I asked her how she finds her music, has been sending me a song nearly everyday and tells me how she found it. I don't like every song she sends but the thoughtfulness just blows me away.

Anyway, I am considering making a giant playlist of the songs, probably at least 300 of them, because she might like that. But that would mean exporting our text thread with thousands of messages and links, and going through it to find all the Spotify and YouTube links she sent. Maybe there is a faster way?

Getting through things in chunks. The dishes are washed and the grotty ones are getting a bleach soak. If I can still smell bleach at all after rewashing them though thatโ€™s a tactical yeet.

Iโ€™ve got a bag of clothes for the op shop and one for a workwear charity. Iโ€™ve put them by the door and moved the unwanted tv there too. (If the built in dvd player doesnโ€™t work itโ€™s no use to me. Sell.)

Someone cancelled tomorrow so thereโ€™s some time to sweep.

I'm getting tired of these wasted weekends where I'm laid up trying desperately to either deal with a migraine or avoid causing one.

Work gets the best of me. And I'm left doing nothing on the weekend.

Can't visit my friends.

Can't play guitar or drums because that causes a flair up. It's literally all I want to do.

I fucking hate this.

Sorry for the rant.

Edit: made a physio appointment for tomorrow morning. Told my manager. I'm going to play guitar and I don't give a fuck. Physio can fix it if it goes bad.

I used to get a few myotherapy clients with migraine issues. I helped more than I didn't by working on their necks. Maybe see a manual therapist for some neck work?

Just keeping to myself today.

Itโ€™s going to be a tough 3 weeks until I can get my tax return back and thatโ€™s hinging on there actually being money to come back.

I need to brainstorm some cheap meals to save on money.

I also got into a massive fight last night with someone and I think my trust in them have broken as well but itโ€™s making me feel really off today and I feel really down today.

[โ€“] [email protected] 4 points 1 week ago

oh no,

I hope you can save your trust

I got ideas if you need them, let me know if you have any dislikes or allergies and Iโ€™ll see what I can do. Potatoes go far.

Also please donโ€™t hesitate to hit up food pantries or anything around, see if youโ€™re eligible

I made a delicious soup yesterday. I roasted a butternut pumpkin, two sweet potatoes, some garlic, and half a dozen carrots for half an hour at 200C - all chopped up with some oil, salt and ground cumin. Then in a big pot, soften a diced onion in some oil, add a litre of stock, and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes. Add the vegies to the pot and blitz with a blender until smooth. Add a bit of cream if you fancy.

Makes about 12 serves at around $1.50 per serve, and freezes well if you don't want to eat it for every meal. And you could swap out whatever roast vegies you fancy.

Tough to hear. You can do this though.

I did see the F1 movie yesterday. If youโ€™re thinking about seeing it, Itโ€™s safe to say the film is best viewed on the biggest screen you can find.

For fans of:

F1 or any motorsport in general -

Jerry Bruckheimer productions -

Brad Pitt and his face-

Itโ€™s a typical Bruckheimer fare with big needle drop soundtrack, quick camera editing, sarcastic quips during action scenes, and the montages.

If you have seen Top Gun, Days of Thunder, or Gone in 60 Seconds, you get the idea. Itโ€™s big, itโ€™s flashy, itโ€™s two and half hours long and I will probably never watch it again.

6.8/10 Pitt stops

I'm working at catching up on life admin that I have let slide a bit while moving. All the financial changes with different utility companies, insurance etc. with moving make it a bit of a mess. But it will be nice to have it sorted out and be able to rule a double line under the last financial year.

Hanging on to every moment I can stay in bed before I am summonsed by the family lol. But also the desire for coffee. And my favourite breakfast at the moment: very grainy bread toast with seedy peanut butter on it and sprinkled with extra seedy trail mix type stuff. Perhaps I am birb?

[โ€“] [email protected] 7 points 1 week ago (1 children)

It's time to train the children in the art of breakfast making so they can bring it to you in bed.

[โ€“] [email protected] 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Actually I'm a killjoy when it comes to eating in bed, I detest the crumbs ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Not much fun am I LoL

Yes! I've been thinking lately, the kids are probably old enough to learn the coffee machine. Time I shared my 13yrs of barista experience with them ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

I was a lawyer in my dream. A lawyer for people in the pornographic film industry.

There were a few women milling about my office tending to legal matters. Gordon Ramsey was also present. He was demonstrating how to make a sort of rice bowl thing that looked delicious. The recipe was Japanese inspired and non traditional. A sushi crunchy roll in bowl form.

I remember Gordon cutting himself slightly on my sashimi knife, but it didnโ€™t deter him. Heโ€™s a pro.

8:30am.

Nope. Bed is way too inviting to wake up properly.

12:30pm. Time to get up
