Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

Nobody should do this and nobody should have this done to them. Torture is as inhuman as an act can be. It's monstrous and only monsters do it.

Shouldn't they simply let him be judged in syria where he comit the crimes? When german leaders will be jailed for support israel war crimes?
German law says that if you are in Germany, you can be tried for crimes against humanity anywhere.
After he has served his sentence he may return to Syria to be tried there or the Syrian government may petition for his extradition before his sentence is up. Note that he can not be extradited if he's under threat of receiving the death penalty at the destination. But all that is theoretical.

The federal prosecutor’s office had asked for the man to receive life imprisonment – which usually runs to a maximum of 15 years in Germany – followed by preventive detention – meaning he would always stay behind bars, because of the potential danger it considered him to pose to wider society should he ever be released.
I'm not German so I can't comment with any certainty, but it sounds like the life sentence is 15 years in prison followed by indefinite confinement after that?
