Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

Context for the guy's frustration: this isn't his first rodeo; I've seen so many videos of this guy talking to people trying to tell him he's being genocided and the very place he lives is going through that genocide.

His handle is Lusifer 路西法. Pretty good for the most part but he does have the occasional brainworm.

But why can't we have it in the middle of both of those things? Can't it be an enlightened centrist from the center country?

One of them literally said this yesterday, minus the Indian dish part.

Assume that was the joke.

Then they came back with "I looked it up, it's a city in the Uyghur Autonomous Zone but I don't know what that has to do with the genocide"

Its the same divide and conquer playbook, same with the kurds in the middle east. Naive baby leftists always fall on this trick.

Minorities struggles can be usurped by reactionary opportunists.

Who is this guy just saying things out loud??? Does he have any power or just some guy who's willing to give up the game?

Military guys love to do the university speaker circuit and talk about how smart their strategies are. Many are "history buffs" that think of themselves as iconoclasts for just not being racist about "enemy" capabilities and instead appreciating them and so they go and share their views to build up cred and shop for some kind of fellowship with a "liberal arts" department.

So just some military guy willing to give up the game for fame, but likely isn't speaking from some deep knowledge but instead just from his assumptions which happen to align with imperial interest.

Thanks for the explanation though! Appreciate it being so well described

It's usually retired ones where they don't think there are any remaining opsec issues - at least not ones in their domain. They don't necessarily like the CIA types or NED types that would be pissed.
