Welcome to /c/SoftwareGore!

This is a community where you can poke fun at nasty software. This community is your go-to destination to look at the most cringe-worthy and facepalm-inducing moments of software gone wrong. Whether it's a user interface that defies all logic, a crash that leaves you in disbelief, silly bugs or glitches that make you go crazy, or an error message that feels like it was written by an unpaid intern, this is the place to see them all!

Remember to read the rules before you make a post or comment!

$7 per month per month. It's accelerating payment schedule, so you'd pay 14 for the 2nd month and 21 for the third. Isn't capitalism great?

"this was clearly listed on page 8 of the terms and conditions that you agreed to! Didn't you read the entire 50 page document in full before clicking agree???"

I never make these kinds of comments, but I just laughed so hard at this. It’s just so accurate.

You just double clicked the link that got you there, like an old person.

lol what could be causing this

Probably had icons / images for everything with the same alt text. None of the images are loading, so the browser is displaying the alt text instead

Another option would be React: the test setup triggers some things twice on purpose, to force devs to pay attention.

Misfiring CSS rules? Duplicated tags? Fuck knows, it's exciting knowing a dev got paid for this and I'm wondering whether a basic homepage will pass a W3C check.
