I played it (before update), died a lot without learning anything and went back to playing dark souls

That's pretty funny considering a central theme of Noita is gaining knowledge.
A bunch of beta QOL improvements are finally on the main branch.
late game spoilers
The last time I played I died trying to get to 64 orb Kolmi. I was at NG+24 or so and some asshole did an RKO from outta nowhere with a circle of transmutation. I had all the more love stacks, but I had a chainsaw on my teleporter wand for rapid fire, and this bastard dropped down from off screen and into the chainsaw, then retaliated against their own stupidity by turning me into a sheep, where I danced about for several agonising seconds on fire before I finally bought it. That was over a year ago. I have since decided that on long runs I need something other than chainsaw to make a rapid fire tele wand.
It's taken me a while to want to play again, and I really wanted to wait for these improvements before I did.
Edit: I have been trying to make these spoiler tags work and it ain't happening, folks.
Edit 2: finally
The gods are impressed
Finally bought it. Such a great game.
FYI there are rumors it will be in an upcoming Humble Bundle.
I bought it the day before the 60% off great game but also RIP
This is one of the better sales I've seen on it, really tempted to get it finally.
I love the game. Considering to buy it for two of my friends so we can play multiplayer some day.
The usual 50% off was already a very good deal in my opinion. If you ever considered looking into this game there is no better time than now. An absolute masterpiece and one of my favorite games of all time.
Also finally you can manage your inventory outside of the holy mountain (tinkering not included by default). This was the primary reason I played on beta the last months. Once my current run ends, I'm switching to stable.
That's quite a huge update
