The Nintendo online play is a joke. Not connecting to the web is a boon imo
Going online with flash carts on a new console is certainly a choice. The first Switch already hardware banned for doing that, so this isn't new.
I know people that got their Nintendo DS banned for using flash carts. This ain't new.

Fuck Nintendo. No other company has as much active distain for their fans. And the damage they’ve done to game preservation is immeasurable.
Worse than disdain, it's hostility. Their family-friendly image is at odds with their actual actions. Going after streamers because they dare play (and publicize) your games...? What the fuck!? Their attitude literally makes me reconsider buying their console and/or games...

Yes, they've always banned users for going online with pirated games, and the T&C has always warned you that they would. Sony and Microsoft do the same thing too.
