I haven’t heard this in so long that I forgot about it entirely. Holy shit it brings back the memories...
Still good though. I wonder if i still have that CD somewhere. (Yeah I’m old)

I still have the case for the CD but the disc itself is MIA :(

There's a chance the disc is in my old shelf unit. I'll have to check next time I visit the storage unit. The last time I grabbed things from storage, I did find my Dishwalla CD that I thought was lost forever lol

Apparently I ripped it into mp3 at some point and had it my library, so I was able to listen to the whole album during my workout. Crazy how the lyrics came back instantly after 20+ yrs! Messed up my breathing cause I had to sing along. :) I gotta look for those CDs though, I'm sure there's more in there I've forgotten about.

This song so reminds me of my '84 Dodge Shelby Charger. Sweet little hatchback with the shitty 1.8 Chrysler Mopar engine, plastic emissions vacuum lines that broke if you looked at them, and I had to pay twice what I paid for it in repairs when I slid into a snowbank and destroyed a control arm.

BUT, I had a great radio system, with an EQ,and my poorly-mounted amp under the dashboard that my friend Chuck would rehang when I hit a bump and it fell because I never fucking bothered to mount it properly.

The Charger had rainbow decals on it so of course some shithead vandalized it while I was at work. Tires were wide, special orders that ran $1200/four in 1990s prices. I went into the Army, and my mom destroyed it on an accident. I got it repaired, but it was never quite the same.

I love how one simple post can bring back such good memories.

So true. I was on a cross country trip and bought this CD in Chicago about halfway through. I hadn't heard this one until I bought the CD, and it just absolutely spoke to me. Has been one of my favorite songs since.
