Antisemitism or not, that is just evil
I gotta say I've gotten scared a few times these past couple of days with so many posts about Greta reaching the front page. Hearing about the boat that she decided to not be on getting attacked, her going there with another boat and them threatening her. And then opening Lemmy and seeing several different posts with her face as the thumbnail just thinking "please, no, don't be bad news" and then being relieved she's not dead, been taken hostage, or anything else bad. We need her.
She was on a boat that got bombed, survived, and went back out. She has balls of steel, but I fear that she's setting herself up to be a martyr. There has to be some reasonable way for her to headline and lead resistance that doesn't end in her likely overlooked death. The people who her passing would activate are already mostly active.
But don't disagree with killing her, or you'll be accused of being anti-Semitic.
Uh, yeah, because that would make you basically hitler. Saying we should protect blonde haired blue eyed youths? How far off the 14 words is that really, dude?
I was asked why I got radicalised. This would've been another event to radicalise me if I wasn't already

What is to be done?
Nothing, western culture is now all-in on doomscrolling and bigotry
I mean, sure there are things that COULD be done, like education changes and punishing openly brazen criminals who are pushing abhorrent ideologies on social media, but all of that costs money and doesn't make any rich people even richer, so they'll never be implemented
So, when do you grab a gun? When yhe internet is locked down? Goes down? When your neigh ors are taken? When high tide gets your carpets wet? When you can't find a strong enough air conditioner? When theres no more food? When they come for you in the small hours of the morning? When pornhub pulls out of your region? When yhe crematorium makes everything you own smell like human ash?
When do you stand up? You dont have to know the answer yet, but think about it.
I know you think everyone in the world is as apathetic and useless as you and your friends are but I've been out at protests nearly every week since February

You can type whatever you want to justify your apathy, it means nothing to me
Protesting is fundamentally the act of making your desires known. It's communicative. Fascists don't like communication. They certainly don't respect it.
When do you take... Whatever the next step is for you? Again, you don't have to tell me, but be thinking about that.
