Are these bills anything but a blatant attempt to sidestep environmental protections to approve more O&G and mining infrastructure?

Like how does this even help with the current tarrif situation? We'll approve all these decades-long-to-build projects to fight the current tarriff situation?

Can anyone make it make sense?

As far as I'm concerned Eby's in the corporate lobbyist's pocket and using the current "shock" to push through objectionable legislation.
