Heads up Brisbane- This Friday from 8am, all 6 lanes of the Story Bridge will be shut down for a planned protest. Cyclists, scooters & walkers want a lane of their own & are making their point in peak hour. [Olympia Kwitowski]
To really make their point, they should take over the left lane. Every day. Full of cyclists. Then the motorists would start campaigning to get them their own lane.
No mention of what they're actually protesting?

BCC and QPS were taking this to court to try and get it cancelled. Ironically, on the basis that the protest would apparently involve "excessive interference with motorists’ right to movement". Has that court case been resolved already?
That is a case I would very much want to know the outcome of.
