Just watching this now on YouTube. Its under *Why Was New York So Dangerous In The 90s? *

Anyway, I see its 2 hours and I'm watching and coding. The production quality is very good. But I start to notice a general slant to how they talk about things. A kind of 'overindulgence in social systems really creates poverty' kinda vibe. At first I'm thinking, 'its a long doc maybe it's both sidzin it'. But no, this is some legit high grade propaganda. They constantly present Randian supermen as the solution to widespread social strife (while, of course, neglecting those failed by the system). Watching it now cuz I'm kinda fascinated at how they twist facts and historical narratives. Like they mentioned The Central Parkremoved Case and use it as a kind of example the escalating violence of the time while deftly sidestepping the whole issue of wrongful incarceration (notice that they call it the Central Parkremoved Case rather than drawing attention to the Five wrongfully convicted black men).

Anyway. I'm kinda curious. Like this legit feels like a piece of propaganda funded by a think tank. You guys know anything about the production / creator?
