The question does not follow from the premise. You are basically asking "If a group went against social norms would they be shamed for it?".

I think the word you were looking for is Quadrapedal.
Just want to point out that "feral" in the context of fictional furry characters tends to just separate a human shaped anthro from a non-human shaped anthro (they can still be anthropomorphic by having human-like intelligence) and not just an animal animal. The Lion King features "feral" anthros.
