fried mushrooms are so so good and when you bite them and you get that crunch and then that super umami burst of juice in your mouth

Batter came out really well, I usually struggle getting mushrooms to a good spot but was pleased with these. Had about 10 medium sized mushrooms cut in half and used 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 cup corn starch, 1/2 tsp baking powder, tsp salt and 3/4 cup of water and then coated in a separate bowl of panko.
