Huh? It doesn't look like they're trying to say the text itself is the tattoo, it looks like they're trying to say the tattoos mean MS-13. The blurry stuff below the tattoos seems to be explaining that it's Marijuana for M, smile for S, and some other explanation for why a cross and skull are a 1 and 3, but it's too blurry for me to see. It's bullshit, but it's not so blatantly obviously made up as superimposed text on a picture of a dude's hand being passed off as a tattoo.
So are these tattoos supposed to actually mean anything. On their own it seems like dude likes pot, smiles, God, and death/Halloween?
The most "worrisome" one to people would be death, but being that the cross is a symbol of where people crusified gods messenger, maybe that is more worrisome. Does someone have a reference to where these claims came from to bring a gang?
It may have been put on with a typewriter. Photoshop is pretty advanced technology..

but i think it's just a very poor placement of the government's interpretation of the four individual tattoos, which should have been a separate call-out box that left the photograph itself unaltered.
I haven't seen his finger tattoos until just now, and it's blatantly obvious that MS13 is MS Paint'ed on. Even a small child wouldn't be fooled.
But what I don't get are those words below the pictures. Surely that is too small to write legibly as a tattoo, so they must also be photoshopped? Especially because they are a slightly different color and aren't lined up correctly.
I'm trying to read the words... "Marijuana" "Smiley" "Cross" and probably "Skull". So, that would be MSCS, not MS13. That means that he has a Master of Science in Computer Science degree, I think. Just like me.
I don't know where they got the numbers from. A cross isn't a "1". If anything, it's a "t". Maybe if we could see around the edge, we'd see something that starts with K, and it just turns out that he's a fan of MST3K.
The cope is that the cross and skull are "cover up" tattoos to hide the fact that he was in the gang. The 1 was turned into a cross and the 3 was covered up by the skull. It's a huge reach, but at least it's not as stupid as believing that the MS13 text is real.
