Well, I suppose that answers the question of whether the "baby suit" would work.

I skimmed the article - did it say if the kid was ok? Christ on a cracker.
If the police are trying to arrest him and the mother is right there why didn't he give her the child?
Victim blame much?
Lauren Aratani, who wrote this article, managed to give the names of all the victims and the person who filmed the violence. Yet not a single officer's name is listed. I have to assume that Lauren Aratani is a boot licker.
Also it's disgusting that the police stated this happened because they were trying to keep the child safe. The NYPD (in its entirety) can all go fuck themselves.
I’m not going to watch the video but if the title is true, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH POLICE IN THIS COUNTRY!?
I mean, a freaking toddler!!
Gross. Embarrassing. Disgusting. Abhorrent. Depraved.
A storied history of systemic racism and violence. A lack of adequate training. A lack of accountability. A complete lack of repercussions that actually affect them - tax payers footing the bill for settlements instead of cop pension funds. A mob-like culture that protects abusive cops and uses fear to keep the rest in line.
Should I go on?
you could have just said, "Cops"
No need to wear out your keyboard.
“The health and safety of all migrants and longtime New Yorkers in our care – especially young children – is always a top priority, and this matter is currently under investigation.”
What's the word for when someone records a video of an atrocity, and then you say the opposite of what happened?
It's sick. After they tazed him:.
an officer holds him down as another punches him in the head.
Love to see fucking camo present in civilian policing activities. Also ACAB, but NYPD particularly so.
This is what you get when you hire hothead bumpkins with about as much de-escalation training as they have experience as rocket scientists.
Don't get me wrong, I'm pro-immigration - but if there's a border patrol, a border guard, they should be professionally trained. If not, you get dumb shit like this happening, and then people get hurt - or even die when "resisting arrest"... that can mean so many things.
I'm just curious how you somehow got "border patrol, a border guard" out of anything that happened?
This wasn't the border patrol. It was new York police. This person was already in the country presumably released by USBP at the border.
Local police did this.
I don't think anyone there is Border Patrol. It's NYPD and likely national guard because Hochul and Adams are DINOs who love using guys in camo as political props as much as Greg Abbott.
And of course the ex cop mayor is 100% covering for them, even with video showing the cops tazing the man holding the child and witness video confirming it was a shelter employee that attacked him and then called the cops.
The mayor trying to say "they had to taze him to protect the child" is by far the stupidest thing ive heard today. Not only did that also likely taze the child, the drop risk if the father had collapsed was way, way higher than any danger the child was in while in his fathers arms. These sick fucks could have just talked to him and kept him at arms length, but nah. Taze a kid.
