We have somehow forgotten that capital is competing for our labor. Fuck them. Do your time, gain experience, take it elsewhere and ask for more money. Any yes, you have to fucking ask for the money. No one is handing it out for free. Because that's how money works.
Been at my job 3-months, realized it's a dead-end for what I want to do, have a phone interview tomorrow. LOL, while I'm at work. I'll knock that out the park and have an in-person interview quick enough. I expect to land that job making 3x what I'm making now.
EDIT: Out the fucking park. I knocked it. Never heard an interviewer come so close to saying, "We're done here. You're hired."
