Really wishing the steelers had a second round pick this year
Woke up to see that my Kansas City Chiefs got a OT. This pleases me, as they also traded for another tackle in the offseason.
I'm glad Veach is loading up a little there so the training camp battle can produce the best option. It's clearly one of the weakest, if not the weakest position on the team.
FINAL PICK OF THE NIGHT! No. 32 pick: Josh Simmons, OL. Chiefs.
No. 31 Pick: Jihaad Campbell, LB. Eagles.
Eagles and Chiefs swap pick positions.
No. 30 Pick: Maxwell Hairston, DB. Bills.
No. 29 Pick: Josh Conerly Jr, OL. Commanders
No. 28 Pick: Tyliek Williams, DL. Lions.
Hey Browns, I'll trade you. Your Michigan DT pick for our Ohio State DT pick. Seems logical.
You know anything about Tyliek? I’m glad we’re shoring up the defensive line but I don’t know much about this guy (or the entire draft class for that matter)
No, I'm in the same boat as you. Outside of the Michigan guys, I'm pretty clueless. Big guy from big school is usually a safe bet though.
No. 27 Pick: Malaki Starks, DB. Ravens.
Second round Sanders lmao
Fifth round Sanders lol
Damn, really surprised that these teams are passing on Luther Burden III
No. 26 Pick: James Pearce Jr. DL. Falcons.
No. 25 Pick: Jaxon Dart, QB. Giants.
No.24 Pick: Donovan Jackson, OL. Vikings.
Wow is Shedeur slipping to round 2?
It seems likely now that the Giants didn't grab him
No. 23 Pick: Matthew Golden, WR. Packers.
No. 22 Pick: Omarion Hampton, RB. Chargers
No. 21 Pick: Derrick Harmon, DT. Steelers.
Steelers didn't pick Shedeur. I can't believe that.
Are they really feeling that Rodgers is going to come swooping in? Maybe they're going to try for Cousins
Lots of QBs available in 2nd round. They'll need to trade up though. I bet they all go early tomorrow.
The Steelers don't have a 2nd round pick right now, they traded it for Metcalf
Good point. I dunno what Steelers are doing then!
This is what makes the draft so much fun
No. 20 Pick: Jahdae Barron, CB. Broncos.
No.19 Pick: Emeka Egbuka, WR. Bucs.
No.18 Pick: Grey Zabel, OL. Seahawks.
I dig it. We can get a fast deeo threat WR in the next round and another OL then beef up the defense. Either a CB or safety. Or both or a DL. 4 more picks tommorow lets gooooo!!
No. 17 Pick: Shemar Stewart, DL. Bengals.
No. 16 pick: Walter Nolen, DL. Cardinals.
No. 15 Pick: Jalon Walker, LB. Falcons.
Two TE's and a RB in the first round?
The heck are these GM's doing?
Brad Holmes caught so much flak for getting Gibbs and LaPorta so early in the draft, and maybe I’m just not in the right places to hear the public criticism but the irony of this situation is not lost on me
I'm not saying Gibbs and LaPorta are bad picks, necessarily.
But historically it's harder to find better value at premium positions later in the draft, and TE and RB are not premium positions.
Oh don’t get me wrong I agree with you. I just remember the general sentiment being overwhelmingly negative towards the Lions for making those choices, and to see other GMs making similar position selections this year is humorous to me
Makes sense. I hope those players work out for their teams. We'll see. :)
And Warren wasn't the first TE was the surprise for me.
I just can't get over that the two best TE's ever were 2nd and 3rd round picks respectively.
No. 14 Pick: Tyler Warren, TE. Colts.
No.13 Pick: Kenneth Grant, DL. Dolphins.
No.12 Pick: Tyler Booker, OL. Cowboys.
Fully whelmed.
No. 11 Pick: Mykel Williams, DL. 49ers.
