I can't remember what I planted and now it's growing. It's not something I normally grow so I don't recognize the leaves. It has some purpose. It's not a flower. A fruit, veg or leafy green. Can someone help me?

Kale. We grow a lot of it on the farm where I work.

You can cut the baby leaves now but it's better to let it grow big. Then you can just take off leaves as you need them and let the plant keep growing.
