As a Skyrim-first Elder Scrolls who only played and beat Oblivion for the first time this year, I feel happy for you Oblivion fans. This remaster was long overdue.

I'll wait for the oblivion remastered anniversary edition master collection to go on sale in like 2030, thank you very much.
I remember Oblivion too well to replay vanilla right now. I'll probably try it out a decade from now modded out the wahzoo.
Holding out for Skyblivion. No hate to Bethesda for this remaster, but I'd rather spend my time with something more original (and passionate)
For what it's worth, the devs who worked on this remake talked about their personal experiences with the original game in the 20 min reveal on youtube. Probably good to mention this is not made by Bethesda. Some of them mentioned putting over 10000 hours in the original game. They also talked about what a privilege it was to work on the game. To me, it sounds like they had plenty of passion for it. But there's nothing wrong with you holding out for Skyblivion if you'd rather play that. Respect for you at least having a measured take on it.
Oh that's actually super cool to hear. But still with limited time I have to be choosy.
Are you hyped for Horse Armor Deluxe?
We got 7 Skyrims and 2 Oblivions before GTA 6.
I'll never forget my dad didnt wanna buy it cause it was M rated and the dude at best buy was like "I've played it, besides a little blood theres nothing." Man did I stare at the mermaid statue for a good 30 minutes just admiring that Best Buy employee's thankless finesse.
