One potential plus of the Trump administration is that its communication style inadvertently gets people to notice about institutional media what Chomsky has been discussing for decades.

I wouldn't want to live in a country where mastheads and public offices are on the same page.

They might think this is edgy but it’s actually very damaging to the US. Not only will no other country ever take this administration seriously, but if the government breaks their own laws, then other countries will also feel comfortable breaking laws

Imagine official government account tweeting shit like edgy teenager. How can any country of the world take America seriously?

Also they themselves admitted it was a mistake and now thry are furiously claiming he was achtually a drug warlord and he's not coming back to USA. They aren't fucking serious.

No blue check mark, so surely this is a joke account.

I think this is going to hurt the White House in the long run. By smearing these people individually, they are highlighting the fact that they are actual humans with life stories, rather than a swarm invading the country.

Implying that elections will have any meaning or impact next year

Nothing will "hurt" them unless there are consequences for their actions.

I imagine Nazi Germany would have made very similar Tweets if Twitter was around back then.

Asking this in public makes you look like a fool.

Not really , at one point or another you need to normalize it. Also doxxing me would be difficult.
