Fingers crossed this is just due to particular weather in the screenshots. The meshes and textures look great, but the post processing immediately threw me off. At least that's something easy to fix via Reshade and mods.

I'm skeptical that there's a filter like this over the whole game. If you look at the all of the leaked screenshots together none of the others are anywhere close to this dreary (to my eye). Although some of the other images have different issues like extreme darkness/low gamma which makes me think these were never intended for the public. They have also since been pulled from the site (supposedly this was the original location). Maybe it was a look they were testing at some point and then scrapped, who knows.

Meh. Day/night cycle, which means this was probably evening.

We're back in 2005 and the 6000kelvin color temp for everything. FML

My favorite mod for Fallout 3 was the one that got rid of the awful "green" filter they slapped on it. You'd be amazed how much better the game looks. If this is how Oblivion Remastered looks I'll wait for a similar mod to come out.

When the actual xbox 360 game looks less like the xbox 360 era game.

Oh, are we already back to the PS3 era of blooming and browning everything to death?

Not being bleak and dreary was the one thing I liked better about Oblivion, compared to Morrowind or Skyrim.

Oh shit, Oblivion takes place in Mexico?? I never knew. How did I miss that in the lore?

Before Oblivion Cyrodiil was described as a jungle in the lore. So, Oblivion takes place in Brazil?

That explains all the vuvuzelas they added to the soundtrack.

Explain why central Tamriel would look any different than Central America.

Can we stop with the dirt filter?

It's sepia, and it's classy
