I found Eco-Max for household cleaning products, and Simply Go for skincare, but I don't know of any Canadian company that sells the following:

  • Deodorant
  • Body soap / body wash
  • Shampoo & conditioner
  • Facewash

Carina Organics has haircare and body lines

Upfront cosmetics if you prefer haircare in bar form

Iluvit.ca for deoderant, they have sensitive skin lines and sell small sample tins so you can test before committing to a jar or tube.

Birchbabe has facewash in bar form

Deodorant

For body soap I buy mine from places that sell savon de Marseille. It's the best soap there is.

Shampoo

Basically just search well.ca and add a filter for the feature "Canadian".

Check Marcelle for face wash. The unscented soap company, attitude, Jack59 for shampoo and conditioner as well as deodorant.

Go to well.ca and there is a filter for “Canadian” under “features”.

Purely Great, Green beaver for deodorants. Shampoo and conditioner also Green beaver or Attitude. Same two for body wash. Face wash? Like a cleanser? I went with Nivea (German) but above companies possibly have some too.

Alpen Secrets is made in Montreal. You know that bar soap with the goats on it that you see everywhere? That's them. Their body wash with almond oil is absolutely lovely.

I use Green Beaver deodorant, and it seems to be pretty good. They also sell some other items on your list.

Such a good company. I used their sunscreen for ages. They have a body lotion with Labrador tea and shea that I still love too.

I used the "Fresh Verve" deo for a few years and it really is fantastic. So disappointed the price of it went up so much from pre-pandemic to now (iirc, it was 5-6$ and now I can't find it for under 13$, which is more than I'm willing to pay for pit stick. Back to DIY until the price comes down, unfortunately).

I have stupidly sensitive skin, and a lot of deodorants cause me to break out horribly and even feel like I've been burnt. Any sensitive skin people out there tried this? Don't want to risk it, but would love to switch to a Canuckian brand.

Just commented about iluvit.ca having a sensitive range that you can buy in sample sizes

I have sensitive skin, and I find some of Green Beavers' scents bother me. They do have softer scents, though. Unfortunately, the way their deodorant cakes under my arms makes me itchy after a while.

Your milage may vary. Stupidly enough, the Natural brand deodorant (US, more expensive) really work well and don't bother my underarms.

Check the formulas to see if there's something in Beaver that you might not react well with.

I am currently using a Japanese roll-on by the brand Gatsby. Unscented, alcohol cooling with a touch of menthol. Feels refreshing for warm days.
