That's funny, I deleted my Reddit account after I'd gotten sick of it.
Not clear to me whether it's saying the death threats come from lemmy or from reddit.
That's a half truth, I've only been banned 6 times from reddit and 3 times from Lemmy, and never for extremism. And all my death threats were deserved.

You can find that on Reddit too. Itโs just this community is much smaller, so these voices are more prominent on lemmy.
