i switched to Linux Mint as well. I really don't want to use any big tech garbage anymore. They will lure you in with a cheap offer and then when everyone is aboard it's time to raise prices and start the enshittification.

Thunderbird is also a very good alternative to Outlook.

I steered away from cloud services as long as possible and it seems i've made the right choice by keeping it local to my NAS.

Last time I tried FreeOffice it had an important feature missing on Linux (and maybe Mac ?idk): you can't write formulas and equations
