Long time Firefox user, but Iโve been considering trying Waterfox or Librewolf.
Any reason they would be better than FF running Ublock?

Both Librewolf and Waterfox are harden forks of Firefox without the telemetry. Yes Ublock would work.
Sounds like Librewolf is going to be downloaded and set up to give it a try tonight.
That's a good choice as it's community-ran and they use codeberg.
eh. FOSS has no borders, it doesnt matter.
It's controlled monetarily by startpage which some people object to.
Other alternatives: LibreWolf, Floorp, FireDragon
Firedragon is great. Have been running Garuda Hyprland for a few weeks now (btw).
For the ppl that don't know Firedragon is Floorp that mirrors LibreWolf configs. So hardened Floorp.
Don't worry, a lot of waterfox was developed by an american advertising company
That's disinformation. They hired the waterfox guy a few years ago but mostly left him alone.
LibreWolf is a better version. Or Tor

Any other differences than no pocket?
As far as I know it's telemetry off and no pocket, plus container tabs. But for the most part, it's pretty similar (which I personally like).
