What a wimp. I couldn't sign up on my first instance so I lurked for a week and tried another instance. Just think of how much the fediverse would be saved of my pleasant quips if I gave up so easily

You can never expect perfection on any service. Especially a non for profit. It takes time and sometimes technical difficulties.

Also, there's a bunch of other instances to try or even trying to find contact information should have been first instinct.
