I love polish brand Ziaja, but I will be Testing a Shampoo form Yves Rocher which I got for free ๐คญ
I love the own brands form Rossmann (German but starting to expand) and for shampoo specifically have mostly switched to solid bars. Gels only for travel ๐
I'm OOTL, what's wrong with H&S? (Besides not being European)
I like Slovak brand Soaphoria. Theyโre focused on making ecological and natural products. Especially their solid shampoos are great (itโs also worth noting, that theyโre only packaged in a paper box, not in a big plastic bottle).
Other brand that I like (even though itโs not really a hair-shampoo brand) is Floris London. They only have a single shampoo, but I have very good results out of that. But this one is a bit on the pricier side compared to Soaphoria.
Arbre vert has been treating my hair pretty well
I like Faith In Nature. Vegan, natural ingredients, recycled/recyclable packaging, cruelty free. Smells lovely too.
If you have to buy American, mane and tail. The rich donโt care if the poors have hair, they care if their horses do.
Garnier, L'Oreal, Rituals
I miss the cheap big gallon jugs of egg cream shampoo you could buy in the 70's. /s
I use Valquer because:
- it stopped my dandruff
- can buy in big quantities
I prefer the other Rocher, far easier on the digestive system
Solid shampoo here, everyone should switch imo
Any solid anti dandruff shampoo?
After a lifetime of dealing with dandruff, I've recently discovered the best anti-dandruff shampoo in the world, hands down: hot water.
No shampoo at all. Just scrubbing with hot water every two-three days. After about a month or two the scalp stops overcompensating for the degreasing effect of shampoos and calms down. The first month will be pretty itchy and dandruffy though. Tapering out shampoo use gradually and some spray-on/drip-on anti-seboreic dermatitis lotion can keep things under control until the scalp normalizes.
I think this was the video that I first got the idea from:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmDBYsRJN7A
Just pour it out in a bowl an keep it in the freezer.
Ebay my friend
are you telling me to search eBay for shampoo or is there a brand of shampoo called ebay because if it is the latter I can not find it behind all the links for people on ebay selling shampoo.
Any particular recommendations?
Idk I buy a generic one at the supermarket, I've seen there's plenty of choice on ebay tho
Have you happened to see any with no or truly mild perfume? I've been looking on and off through the years without finding any
Nope,I never considered the smell an issue so I don't chose based on that criteria.
Understandable, thanks
Der-med.
Yves Rocher still sales in Russia. Shame on them.
AFAIK they're at least partially owned by Nestle, so their products are a definite no-no.
Kerastase is nice. It's Spanish I think.
God damn it, pantone is the only shampo that has really been able to tame my hair, and i litteraly bought a head and shoulders bottle 2 days ago.
i'm bald
What you save in shampoo, you lose in soap.
I've not used liquid shampoo for about 3 years now.
I only use solid shampoo, which currently is the one from Fer ร Cheval.
This?
How do you use it, though? Like a soap bar?
Do you have long hair? For some reason I imagine it would be difficult to get it on without missing a spot (I have never tried this before)
I have long hair and I use similarly looking solid shampoo. What I do is, that I rub it in both hands and it foams quite quickly and heavilly. Then when I have both hands full of foamy soap, I rub it in hair and wash them similarly to how I would with a liquid shampoo. Maybe it sounds weird, but itโs pretty quick and effortless. But itโs very dependent on how good the soap foams. If you have a solid shampoo that doesnโt foam well, you would need to repeat this procedure multiple times and could be annoying.
I don't have long hair, but I find that it behaves like a liquid shampoo. But I can't say how it would exactly work on long hair.
that's interesting, thanks for sharing!
Wait, am I reading correctly that it has no perfume?
The shampoo does have a small scent:
Its sensory formula, with the delicious, natural scent of oat milk and its creamy foam, is just as effective as a liquid shampoo.
Aah okay! Thanks!
Stylรฉ. Je connaisais pas mais รงa ร lโair bien plus รฉcolo. Je vais acheter pour tenter.
En tout cas, j'en suis trรจs content :)
Yeah same I've been on solid shampoo for like 8 years and it's great, and no more plastic waste.
I use plastic free "Eco Warrior" shampoo bars made by Little Soap Company Ltd (UK).
