I remember a couple summers ago, a couple farms that had these plastic fences around the main house were literally melting from the heat.

The joke is that the "heavily reinforced security fence" is just a bunch of boards and "without a scratch" in that same vein is the oh so tough cbertruck taking serious damage from a couple boards.
This is a dumb joke. Radiators are extremely fragile and that would have happened to any vehicle without adequate protection.

They were far too springey to be made out of wood, which was what I initially thought.
