Isn't it inverse? Suppose your dog is fed at 10am, and after the time change what used to be 10am is 11am, so if you feed him at 10am it's like you fed him at old 9am, thus an hour earlier
I find the best thing to do is smear my cat's mealtimes back and forth. Feed her normally at 6, well feed her at 6:10. then 6:20. Minimizes the feline escalation; not as many things get thrown or shredded, there's just some impatient meowing for a week or two.
That's why I've always wanted to try a light that turns on meaning feeding time for the dogs. I wonder if it would help with stuff like this or, getting them to sleep in and not whine for breakfast at 5am.
My grandma agrees with the dog lmao, she will actually give food an hour earlier depending on if it’s day light savings or not 😂

This would be better to post in the fall....they're eating earlier in the spring...
And Daylight Saving Time doesn’t cause it, that would be Standard Time.
I don’t want to be pedantic but it really irks me that people (not you) don’t know the difference and they keep saying they prefer one of the two but it’s always the opposite of what they’re thinking. With legislation being talked about every switch, it would be helpful for people to know what the hell they’re talking about.
Personally, I prefer DST living in CA but I do like Arizona’s year-round ST considering how hot it is in the evenings.
Standard time is normal "before humans going to war were involved" time.

Standard time is year around. Unless stupid people swap clocks.
