Is this a analog to Russia's Wager group, a mercenary group in name only?

lol I think that's where China is heading. Yes. These are Chinese troops under the name of Chinese security company. They will be preventing Arakan Army who's taken over most of that state from taking over the naval base and deep sea port Chinese are building there. That deep sea port and base will have direct highway and rail link to Yunan. It also has Chinese oil and gas terminals.
