You picked and chose the reason that made you angry, but they also mention repeated posts, which is probably the reason why it got removed if there are other posts about Lemmy...
But it didn't get removed, did it? It's just a mod comment that's there are a warning.
It's also just a meme and not something that actively contributes to the movement.
What is reddit?
And that's why we're here and not there. Who cares anymore? And who's surprised?
I was expecting that as the goal of the community is to promote EU software, they would at least let those kind of posts be
No, not like that!
The great irony.
I‘ve just left Reddit to join Lemmy. It did not hurt.
Welcome! Feel free if you have any questions
I’m sure spaz has bots rolling over the site like a roomba, to clean up mentions of Lemmy.
I'd like to see a campaign of promoting Motorhead go viral just to make it harder on Späz
There's nothing removed though? I'm seeing the post and all comments. And it's a low effort meme in a subreddit for discussions on how to buy local instead of US products, so I'd agree with a mod if they did remove it.
The top comment was about creating a forum to ditch Reddit, seems quite relevant for the sub
To see it removed, try https://www.reddit.com/r/BuyFromEU/comments/1j3997s/european_software_engineers_right_now/
It seems to only be "blocked" or something on the new front-end. Old reddit seems fine. Very weird.
Yeah, I can see the whole thread using Stealth.
Lots of updoots for the person saying Lemmy "is just terrible". They seem like an idiot but they're getting traction.
Blaze doing the lords work over there with the heathens...
It was always like this. What’s even more fun is that if a mod deletes your own comment you still see it which enables things like localised shadowbans via AutoMod.
They forgot to enshittify the old UI. Sometimes there's a silver lining when companies forget about some features.
Seriously, this starts to get stupid
you know whats stupid? that you can't find this post on reddit.com, it even isn't listed anymore but the direct link to it works O.o?
So its just shadow-removed? The heck is going on over there?
Yes, the post got removed, you won't see it in the feed, but only using the direct link.
It's not shadow removed, it's clearly removed
but when it would be removed, then the entire thread would be just not there; and I shouldn't be able to upvote or even comment in it?
Inconsistency between old, reddit and reddit, see the other comment with the screenshot
They might even be additional database resources on reddit, which they didn't bother to implement into old.reddit.
It all depends on how reddit was coded from the beginning, how they prepared everything for expansion and lastly how they ended up implementing all the things that were added to the codebase over the years.
This inconsistency is a little indicator of a codebase i would be happy to never have to lay my eyes upon.

This makes me think of websites like Walgreens mobile site where it loads the old design first then updates to the new design lol.
