Also, promote Andropov to power more earlier, ideally when he turns 40. He's a good tovarshi, and fresh face of the generation that triumphed over WW2.

I heard Andropov wasn't cringe, but I also heard he was cringe too

Idk, from what I've read over at Socialism Betrayed, there's this attributed quote from CIA internal files

“I believe that if [Soviet leader, Yuri] Andropov had been fifteen years younger when he took power in 1982, we would still have a Soviet Union with us.”

Will add to that, do not trust Lysenko, Beria, or Yezhov.

Lysenko is being absolved by recent discoveries on the epigenetic field.

He was a Lemarckist. That’s not being absolved whatsoever. Even if small parts of his ideology (yes, ideology, not science) were shown to be true, that wouldn’t change the fact that Lysenko’s views were still stained by anti-scientific ideas with no backing in reality like the aforementioned Lemarckian views.

Oh for real? As someone who once was studying evolutionary biology in college a lifetime ago this is interesting. Got any links?

What did Lysenko and Beria do?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Beria was a pedophile iirc

Beria was smeared to hell and back by Khrushchev, Montefiore and so on. Read "Khrushchev Lied"

Man I haven’t read any Grover Furr or Domenico Losurdo yet. I’m wasting way too much time arguing with westoids on the internet.
