—❗️🇮🇷/🇮🇱 BREAKING: Iranian air defenses activated in Tehran, Hamadan and Shiraz

I'm not seeing any confirmation of this so far

[–] [email protected] 6 points 4 days ago

I hope that it was a mistake from my source but they haven't yet withdraw that statement.

Getting the Cracker Peace Prize for committing war crimes on behalf of a genocidal war criminal rogue state, at the risk of starting a world war, and against the overwhelming opinion of most of the people of the world and world leaders... might just be crazy enough to work.

Pezeshkian: History will not forget how Iran’s enemies broke their pledges and agreements, resorting to aggression and invasion even during negotiations

GG wp it's over we fucking lost

Liberal axis in Iran has gobbled up power. Iran will liberalize when Khamenei is replaced. FUCK

[–] [email protected] 8 points 4 days ago (1 children)

From what we've been seeing here, it seems more to have solidified support for Khamenei and the IRGC. Trust in the west and western liberalism seems like it would have hit rock bottom.

I don't know much about Iranian politics, but Jalili did seem preferable to me in the last election because of the more defensive stance he had to the US. From what I was watching, Pezeshkian didn't seem to play much of a role. Araghchi felt like he was running the show a lot more than anyone else. I don't know much about his politics; does not seem like he has any trust in western institutions at this point.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 4 days ago (6 children)

No actually. Liberals have gotten power and the people are angry at the government because they consider this a total capitulation: Iranians genuinely wanted to raze Israel to the ground and what did we get? Bombed to shit and Israel is still there

The IRGC power axis has waned significantly, Khamenei is the last ounce of hardliner stance and when he is dead or replaced, liberal reforms start pouring in

I am gazing at USSR 1991 levels of fuckening in my country and I don't like it

Welcome back

[–] [email protected] 5 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Excuse me, but can you explain it better? I didn't understand your comment.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Basically, IRGC is done, the hardliners are dead or irrelevant, and the liberal axis (rafsanjani school of "fuck the poor and fuck you" followers) have gobbled up the power (Zarif, Pezeshkian, Araqchi, etc.)

So now when Khamenei is replaced they're just going to liberalize and sell the country off like the good natbourg they are

[–] [email protected] 5 points 4 days ago

Damn, so we are done for. 😟

🇮🇷🇬🇧 British-funded BBC Persian: “In reality, Iran is the victor in this war.

Israel failed to complete their main goal, overthrowing the Islamic Republic, and experienced destruction unprecedented in Israel's history"

Interesting that this mentioned by an anti-iranian and pro-Yankee media.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 4 days ago (1 children)

so the us/iran tit for tat was just pure show?

[–] [email protected] 10 points 4 days ago (2 children)

Battle of ~~Manilla~~ Persia

The "retalliation" against the base in Qatar was 100% kayfabe. The US strike on Fordow seems to either have been ineffective or possibly also kayfabe. If it is fake, then the only thing that seems to be destroyed is credibility for the US, UN and IAEA. Not sure how that's a calculated win for the west.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 4 days ago (1 children)

It's a win because Iran is not going to continue levelling Israel and Israel isn't going to lash out and escalate into a broader war that the US can't handle right now

[–] [email protected] 9 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Not sure I'd agree with that. Credibility (if you can really call it that) could have been preserved if they had just arranged for inspections to prove no weapons program exists. Even saying "our intelligence shows Netanyahu is wrong" would have been easier, cheaper, less damaging to institutional crediblity, more honest and with much lower chance for blowback.

The continued levelling of Israel wasn't contingent on the US strikes, but on the fact that Israel's air defense was gone and they were losing. At the time, Israel was making maximalist demands of unconditional surrender, death of Ali Khamenei, regime change and total destruction of all civilian nuclear capabilities. None of those things were achieved. Israel, though hiding its wounds, seems to have asked for an exit ramp, which is convenient now, but makes little sense to me as part of a larger strategy.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago) (1 children)

In this war Iran showed that Israel iron dome is actually a sieve dome, with many vulnerabilities. Israel was also wrecked badly with many people fleeing. Iran also showed that both Israel and US attacks against nuclear sites were ineffective. Iran was also able to legally (in regards to international law) withdraw from the NPT.

This is an overall victory for Iran, even if Trump was able to save face.

I now think what is the balance of this war politically for Netanyahu's faction. They started the war to avoid a political crisis. If they are able to stay in power that will also be bad news for the region.

You know what as much as I really really really wanted Americans to suffer, I have to say that the Iranians are clearly very happy about this outcome. Whether this ceasefire lasts even a week I don't know, but I sure hope there is some advancement on the counterintelligence front. They need to ally with Xi "I killed all of the CIA agents in my country" Jinping. If you still live in one of the Fourth Reich countries I recommend you leave.

🚨 JUST IN : Exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi has unfollowed Donald Trump on Instagram — after Trump helped broker a ceasefire between Iran and Israel.

Only the British give any attention to this dimwit. Not even the US cares about him.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 4 days ago

I think it's pretty funny how much of a Chalabi type figure he is, just waiting on the sideline for someone to give him a country

Uncritical support for Israel bombing Washington.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 4 days ago

Do it. Might support Israel for once.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I suspect that now the war is over for now, we'll see lots of information coming out about strikes against Israeli military targets that were censored.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 4 days ago (1 children)

In the meantime Israel killed at least 600 people in a few days in their food aid death camps, which went severely under the radar

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 days ago

Yeah, I read reports regarding that. Horrifying. The zionists scum turned Gaza into a real life hunger games.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 days ago

Reports of explosion near Iranian city Babolsar

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I'm reading that israel attacked a radar station. So the war is back on?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 days ago

It's a bit unclear now what's going on. There have been attacks since the supposed ceasefire.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 days ago (2 children)

You could see it coming: agree to a ceasefire, missiles were fired on Israel, now Iran denying they did that

Flase flag to escalatie further and draw the US in?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 days ago

That looks like it, it also serves as a wonderful retorical point resetting who the agressor is so they can go back to tue Israel has a right to defend itself montra.

I would also add its not just Iran would not do anything, but also no other nation would rally to its aid

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 days ago

Iran showed the yanks that they won't do anything worthy of attention when they are attacked in their most precious infraestructure, so now the US is going to escalate in some other way. Rinse and repeat.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 days ago

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich: said that "Iran will waver" after Iran's latest missile attack on Israel. Might have been "Tehran will shake"

[–] [email protected] 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

The Israeli side reports that Iran has fired missiles again. Sirens are wailing in the Haifa area. It is not yet clear whether this is a provocation on the part of Israel, so that Iran can then be accused of violating the ceasefire. We are waiting for confirmation of photos and videos from the scene.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 days ago

Unilateral ceasefire, that's the newest West media stunt.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 5 days ago

Needs comic sans

[–] [email protected] 2 points 5 days ago

Israeli media: Two missiles fired from Iran, intercepted.

Israeli media: Powerful explosions heard in North.
