The good news is, he won't know he was a lame duck.

Doctor does nothing. Makes headlines.

It's not extraordinary...

He's a doctor, he can't say shit without losing his medical license. He has to plead the fifth even if there wasn't a coverup about Biden's mental health.

They should be questioned his aides and cabinet that covered it up, they can actually be forced to testify.

This is empty theater

Yes and no. Doctors have a duty to report when there are certain dangers. They can also speak in generalities that would show concern for his condition. They can't say yes the president had dementia diagnosed on X date, or failed X/Y cognitive tests, but that's not really necessary.

Doctors have a duty to report ...

Ok. Who does he report to in this instance. The House Oversight Committee, or Trump?

If the physician does either of those he's breaking confidentiality and that's a big no-no.

Confidentiality is not absolute for medical professionals, they can and have been forced to testify. It's not as absolute as it is with lawyers or clergy, which also have some limits.

At the time the cabinet and vp, oversight committees, possibly the AG or IG if they weren't complicit in a cover up. Also it's about the president, being deep throat 2 would be acceptable.

Doctors have a duty to report when there are certain dangers.

But not after...

Which, again, would explain the fifth

If he didn't say it then, saying it now would mean he loses his license.

I dunno, this is one of those things I'm just gonna accept some people can't understand

I see it both ways. If it was an issue then, not saying anything was criminal negligence, endangering the USA citizens. Same as Rs covering for the current executive, same as staffers covering for Congress persons.

Yeah... definitely not giving those hacks my info just to read rag trash

I set iOS to automatically open that site in reader mode which not only gets you the full text it hides all the ads too.

I’m sure android has something similar if you’re on mobile.

…but you are right - it is trash…

Want me to repost this for you so it doesn't get instantly downvoted because .world will never forgive you for being right?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Want me to repost this so at least we get a more reputable source about a developing story?

FIFY

I'm not sure where the jab at .world comes from when the problem is blatantly obvious.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

Because R2O was correct about Biden needing to drop out, and .world banned him for it.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

I looked at the mod log and it seems like there's more to that story than simple disagreement.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

Yes the officially listed reason in the ban, is not the reasons the mods said in public comments. Like how .ml will ban you for calling out Russia/China but say its actually Rule 1.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 16 hours ago* (last edited 16 hours ago)

Hmm, I don't think so. This is what a rule 1 ban looks like. Return2Ozma has a years-long history of breaking the rules, getting his stuff removed, and repeatedly offending despite the warnings. The ban from .world does not look like that. If anything, you could criticize the other instances a lot more for automating their bans. But, you know, if you have the actual text he was banned for, I'd love to read it.
