My younger son likes to imitate voices, and at one point when he was about seven I had to explain which accents it was currently safe to imitate publicly and which not. It took about ten minutes, and I still hadn't covered all the cases.
“don't imitate other people's accents, it's rude”. less than 10 words.
As someone who also went to university in the late 80s and early 90s, I didn't share his experiences. This reads like one of those silly shaggy-dog stories where everyone says sarcastically afterwards: "yeah that happened".
Why is it that the californian tech bros have all embraced conservative talking points so quickly? Weren't they supposed to be "shitlibs"?
