Getting harder and harder to tell who holds the leash here. Is there any other nation in recent history that could get away with holding all US citizens residing there hostage?
I’ve said it before, I don’t want to say the tail is wagging the dog here but I mean the dog really looks like it’s wagging!
If the tail isn’t wagging the dog it’s incredible how much they’ve made it look like it. What would look different here if Israel was the one really in charge, whether via interpersonal blackmail, nuclear blackmail, or conspiratorial cabal? Because it feels like if that was what was happening this is exactly what it would look like.
