What's a good entry point into the new Ultimate verse? I've been loving Absolute stuff over at DC so I'm down for more fresh takes on comics.

Spider-man and X-men are probably the best in the way that they are pretty standalone and the intro text tells you all you new about the ultimate universe (a supervillain took over the world and made sure heroes didnt happened)

In Ult. Spider-man, He is a dad and becomes spider-man on his 30s. In Ult. X-men they are teens in japan, both are pretty good in my opinion.

For ultimates, if you want to know how the team forms you have to read the Ultimate Universe (2023) one shot

and for the origin of the Ultimate universe itself is Ultimate Invasion 1-4
