I found this great, easy guide to secure a Chevy Volt. I haven't yet tried it, but still wanted to share.

Yes, but when there are recalls that need to be handled by the dealership they will get your data.

Honestly, it isn't a huge deal to me other than the fact that there's no way around it. You pay 10s of thousands of dollars for something, yet you still don't fully own it.

and it even spies on you for commercial data mining and whatever other reasons!
