Holy crap it's so obvious when someone is having their strings pulled to make someone else richer.
Mastodon (Lemmy, Raddle (sometimes)) is what I use, I mentioned MeWe as better alternative to BS, because it exists since many years ago, it is private, doble encryption and decentralized, without scandals and rare things (nowadays). Ad free, it makes money with premium features, like collaboration tools and video chats.
