Just saw this by chance: Donations and Patrons for Lemmy development surged massively on Liberapay in the last weeks! (lemmy.abnormalbeings.space)

Don't know what the exact cause was/is for this big surge - but I am glad to see it. No matter what personal problems people may have with the main devs, they are doing great work on the platform.

So this has nothing to do with reality, you just don't like the they don't share your opinions.

Your projecting. I literally said in the donation thread that I don't care if they run their own political server in their own free time with their own resources. It doesn't matter whether or not I agree with it. What matters is that they want to tell us that we must contribute to their hobby and political crusade. They can make all the poor life choices they want. They just can't include me or anyone else in it.
