my partner thought GG meant 'gotta go!' for 20 years because I (and then later the children) say it at the END of every match. bless her heart.

I don’t think I ever saw that one, but gtg or g2g were pretty common in my spheres

Ah yes, I remembered saying gotta go frequently but I misremembered the acronym. It was indeed gtg.
