And get arrested for breach of peace and surrender their vote? Who benefits from that? You're removing your closest allies from the very position of power you were just emphasizing. An arrested librarian doesn't impact what policies become law.
It's not bootlicking to be able to think beyond what would feel good this instant. Impeachment is at the very least a bigger speed bump than whatever show of force you'd like them to lose their seat with.

Where did I say to do nothing? Spend more time on reading comprehension, and less time promoting self-defeating stochastic activism. The right is winning because they're coordinated and they suit their actions to be effective. You're blatantly advocating sloppy, counter-productive action which is only going to further weaken the left.
