I'm legitimately concerned there's a threshold for too many microplastics in the environment and that once we pass it life will become unsustainable.
maybe human life, but bacteria are already appearing that can digest various kinds of plastics if they cant find better food. nature is healing.
Imagine if that's all we ended up being in time. A brief flicker of immense plastic production and away into the dustbin of history.
