Someone threw a bunch of spiked nails across a highway exit ramp. I caught one of them in my tire.

Some people are happy when others are miserable -- I felt that was an excluded middle from the study's conclusion.

I mean it's possible it could've been an accident but the location was highly suspect, it would've caused damage to many different cars over an extended period of time

Who knows, Hanlon's Razor might predominate here
