An accepting, humorous, and social community to request and share drawings inspired by this post. No drawing is bad unless it violates the rules.

This community was originally on @lemmy.autism.place before the instance announced that it is being shut down.

How to

  1. Make a post requesting a specific drawing.
  2. Respond to request posts by adding your submission as a comment to the post.
  3. Comment submissions as you please.

Rules

  1. Drawings must somehow match the request.
  2. Do not submit your own drawing in a post. Instead, submit it as a comment to your post.
  3. Follow instance rules (sopuli.xyz sidebar). Summary: Remember the human.
  4. No AI generated drawings.
  5. Try to keep top level comments in request posts as submissions.

uhm can you explain this to me? Frozen treats, is that icecream? Do I see 2 handles there? Necker & Klein is some german-speaking brand?

The ice cream block is a sort of optical illusion (Necker cube) with the two handles sticking out of incompatibly orientated sides of the cube. (If you look at it one way, the bottom handle makes sense; if you look at it another, the right handle makes sense -- but not both at once.)

A Klein bottle is another trippy mathematical object.

Basically, I'm pretending their names together are a brand selling ice cream with physically contradictory properties. :-)
