It was a huge surprise here in Australia. Polling was expecting a hung parliament with neither side having a compelling victory.

Looking at the centre-right guy's campaigning over the last few weeks he really thought he was going to win on the back of Trump-style culture-war bullshit.

Yesterday Australia decimated them in a very clear rejection of Trumpism.
