The neolithical Venus and the longhouse are a reference to the longhouse theory. According to certain alt right manosphere types, the communal close quarter conditions of neolithical longhouses led to women policing everyone's behavior, and thus the formation of matriarchy. They claim that modern society function just like that.

Okay these fash weirdos have gone so "trad" they now think the fucking late-neolithic is too woke and modern?

hah, i got this beat.

this kook-theory i saw once (and forgot for 15 years until just now) said that complex language was invented by women to allow them to communicate, collaborate and establish matriarchy over men, who had up until then been in charge based on them having bigger shoulders and punching, i guess? that wasn't elucidated. just the standard "men obviously in charge because naturally big" that we see in cultures where, coincidentally, we socialize the shit out of young women to normalize eating less and being small.

anyway, basically, anything more than hooting, hissing, and braying is woke modernity and a betrayal of tradition. le-monke

the take home for me personally is that people casually claiming authority in interpreting the social structures of distant past are mostly working through their own shit and should be regarded with the same skepticism as someone claiming to hear the voice of god.
