The GOP: "Hey, idiots! We have decades-long plans. We're building a ginormous soul sucking right-wing propaganda media machine. And we're gonna pack the courts with zealots, fundies, and - best of all - fundie zealots."
The Democrats: "We are going to win arguments and be self-righteous and smug. Let the best men - or women(!) - win!"
The GOP: "Alright losers. But we almost wish you wouldn't make it so easy for us. Almost."
GOP: Our most insane conspiracy cults of the past like the Birch society have become a massive consolidated church and radio network. And now we've essentially just invented (via Murdoch) 24 hour cable news.
Dems: We will be liberated by the occasional 60 minutes episode over the next decade. Job done.
