yes 1.5 billion chinese don't know their own recent history despite thousands of Beijingers being present around the protests (and thousands of out-of-town soldiers) and Li Peng meeting with the protesters on live TV. Of course. We whites are just much more enlightened and aware of the goings-on in the world, eh? The Chinese government has declassified documents related to the clearing of the square https://www.gov.cn/zwgk/2011-11/09/content_1989024.htm and released them in Chinese but nobody in China knows that Chinese website exists, thankfully there's europeans who know where to find it to spread the truth.
