Is this going to be an excellent wish-list for the person most likely to split our vote and cause PP to be elected?
If Mark gets in on a minority, I want Jagmeet's support to hinge on a timeline of achievements toward rank-choice voting as a baseline. Healthcare and housing are a good 2 and 3, as long as the former includes eyeglasses and universal dental as prescribed.
I want jagmeet to be the force he was before he overplayed his hand. He was doing really well pulling the strings and giving Justin a scapegoat for any improvements.
You really victim blaming here, when it was the Justin Trudeau liberals fault for sabotaging electoral reform by engaging in bad faith with the commission on electoral reform and for voting against the Motion M-86 that would've established a non-partisan citizen's assembly that would've recommended the best electoral system for our democracy. The liberals were the ones to risk the vote split not the ndp.
That's not an upgrade. It has the same adversarial politics, lack of accountability and the continued over-representation of the two big political parties. Australia is behind on various international rankings while Norway is often ranked 1st place with proportional representation. Also when the liberals had a majority from 2015-2019 they didn't care about implementing ranked choice voting back then when they had every chance to do so, it's meant as a distraction from the real electoral upgrade.
if you dont want the vote to be split tell your candidate to adopt their platform. its pretty simple.
The liberals are vote splitting in multiple ridings where the ndp can win but they dont want to put their country first and pull their candidates but then expect the ndp and greens to pull out of close races where the liberal is the largest opposition.
pretty standard of them.
